Nike 3x3 Tournament

Last week Mateo and I were invited to play for Black Scale in the Nike 3x3 Tournament at the Montalban in Hollywood. Many local brands also joined the rooftop tourney; UNDFTD, Blends, CRSVR, New Era, Diamond, Platinum Motorsports, Legends Barbershop, Johnny Cupcakes and more. The event was for us to test out the new Nike Hyperdunk+ coming out ($250 - Pic below). It was cool meeting new people and hooping with them. Even though we didn't take home the win, we did take home some nice gifts. Thanks Nike!

Bang Bang!

For some time now I’ve wanted a Polaroid camera, even before my DSLR. I always thought they would be expensive since they're old or "vintage" and seeing newer models go for almost $100, so I never bothered to look for one. Last week I hopped on eBay to see what they actually run for and they were surprisingly cheap. I found a SX-70 (below) for $8 and it came with everything; box, carrying case and flash, but no film. 

Now this is the expensive part, finding film. It can be difficult since Polaroid doesn't produce instant film anymore for these models and most are expired. Some cameras do take Fuji film, but not these models. The only option to do is buy film from The Impossible Project, who developed a new film system to work for older Polaroids. It seems like the best option after reading all the reviews, but can be pricey. Each pack is $25, which only takes 8 shots. There are different color shades to choose from too and also a special edition pack by Nigo (Founder of A Bathing Ape) which consist of colorful frames. Be sure to check them out if your looking for film!
